About SyKnese

As a former TV news producer, SyKnese Fields knows how newsrooms make decisions and how to identify the news value in what you do. Blending strategic storytelling with a passion for people, she uses her journalism background to elevate the work of nonprofit organizations.

SyKnese previously worked as a decision-maker in newsrooms, most recently as the senior producer of special projects. Her career includes work at KSHB 41 News, the NBC-affiliate in Kansas City, Missouri; WNEM TV5 News, the CBS-affiliate in Flint, Michigan; and an internship at KAKE, the ABC-affiliate in Wichita, Kansas.

SyKnese has a BA in communications from Wichita State University. She has earned three NATAS Mid-America Emmy Awards, two Kansas Association of Broadcasters Awards, and one Missouri Broadcaster Association Award.
